Thank you to Chippenham Town Council’s Community Donations Committee for agreeing to fund two new Infra Red Thermal cameras, bringing our total number of cameras to four. The grant application included funding for Eco Renovation guides to help understand the results and next steps after borrowing the thermal Cameras.
Our scheme admin Chris wasted no time in ordering the two new cameras and four renovation guides, so we can tackle the backlog of loan requests whilst the weather is still cold.
In addition to the four Eco Renovation guides we will now be loaning with each camera, we plan to add additional books available for free loan. We are working out the logistics of loaning these additional books.
The new cameras do not require a physical connection to your phone and are suitable for both Android and iPhone adding greater flexibility.
The cameras are free to borrow for Chippenham residents.
We have now scheduled the first of our free Home Energy Workshops for Friday 8th March, 2pm to 4-30pm, Chippenham Town Hall. This will be a valuable workshop run in conjunction with the Centre for Sustainable Energy, and funded by Wessex Water Community Connectors. The event will be filmed for those that can’t make it on the day.
The workshop neatly leads into Green Open Homes week. Please check out the Chippenham residents including Zero Chippenham members who have generously opened their homes to explain their retrofits from insulation to heat pumps.
