CW Thermal Camera Demonstration

Zero Chippenham Thermal Cameras now available for FREE hire Autumn 2024

Our four thermal cameras are now open to hire for FREE (Chippenham Residents only) for the Autumn – Winter 2024 season.

To hire one of our free thermal cameras please fill out the form on our Thermal Camera Scheme Page

Our scheme administrator Chris will be pleased to help you once you’ve filled out the initial request form.

In addition to the camera loan we also offer a free Eco Renovation guide to borrow with each camera.

We have four cameras in total. The two newer ones are universal for iPhone and android with no physical connection. The two fractionally older cameras are specific to USB-C connector (Android) or Lightning connector (iPhone)

The cameras are free to borrow for Chippenham residents. If you live outside Chippenham you may be able to borrow a free camera from your local Wiltshire library via a similar Wiltshire Council scheme.
You can find out more about home energy efficiency in general and how to keep your home warm and save money this winter on our Home Energy Efficiency page

Please check out the case studies here which are being regularly updated with home retrofit ideas and case studies from across Chippenham.

November is Green Open Homes week in Swindon and Wiltshire. Please check out the Chippenham residents including Zero Chippenham members who have generously opened their homes to explain their retrofits from insulation to heat pumps.

Wiltshire Council are now also offering thermal cameras to hire for free at Chippenham Library. We see this as a complementary measure and encourage you to try there if our cameras are booked when you need them, and vice versa!

Thank you to Chippenham Town Council’s Community Donations Committee for funding our thermal cameras and Eco Renovation guides to help understand the results and next steps after borrowing the thermal Cameras.

Thank you to Wessex Water Community connectors for funding our Home Energy Efficiency project.
