Our next Home Energy workshop will take the format of a drop in session at the Chippenham Community Hub, Thursday 19th September 10am to 12.
This session is the regular Thursday meeting at the Chippenham Community Hub of their popular Retirement group.
An expert from the Bristol charity the Centre for Sustainable energy will lead the drop in session in partnership with Zero Chippenham and the Community hub.
This will be an informal session with a short introduction from the Centre for Sustainable Energy on their housing retrofit advice programmes and their partnership with Wiltshire Council through Warm and Safe Wiltshire.
Feel free to drop in and ask any questions you like of our expert, the retirement group is very welcoming…
Questions could include..
How can I keep warm this winter and save money?
How do I insulate my home?
Should I get a Smart meter / Do I have to have a Smart meter?
Someone’s knocked on my door offering free cavity wall insulation, is it genuine?
Where can I get advice?
What financial help is available?
Should I fit solar panels, how fast will they pay back?
Or whatever comes to mind!
